About Richard!

After many years as an owner and partner with Don Cherry in the restaurant business, Richard could no longer resist the call from Muskoka.  Although he was a seasonal resident for many years a change in both lifestyle and career offered him the opportunity of returning to Muskoka on a full time basis.

Of course, the increase in quality golf courses in the area is just an added perk of living in Muskoka.  In his spare time you will often find Richard working on his game and meeting new people.

Upon obtaining his real estate license, he and his wife Laura, quickly made Lake Muskoka their home, bringing  with them the ambition and enthusiasm that had driven Don Cherry's to success. A success that is now evident in his real estate career.  Laura continues to be involved in the operation of Don Cherry's although she now prefers to take advantage of the high tech equipment which enables her to do much of the work from her Muskoka home.

Not surprisingly, Richard attained the status of 100% Club member within Re/Max in his first year (1987) and it was quickly surpassed.  He has now achieved Platinum Club (2006)membership and has received the Lifetime Achievement Award (1992).  He was also ranked #5 in Canada for individual sales in 2006.
